IT Support Engineer Backfill, Bourg-en-Bresse

Duration:

Need 1 year Backfill support Engineer

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software/applications

Work with OEM vendors for spare replacement, hardware repairs, and troubleshooting

Provide EUC (End User Computing) support

Manage IT inventory and assets

Perform imaging of laptops and desktops

Printer installation and management

Support conference room issues and vendor coordination for setup

Troubleshoot hardware and software issuesPerform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets

Support mobile devices and non-PC equipment such as scanners and printers

Provide VIP support with high-touch service

Manage AV / conferencing technologies

Install and manage network/shared printers

Provide Office 365 support

Handle compliance software installation and troubleshooting

Maintain strong communication with users and stakeholders

Good knowledge of DHCP and DNS

Coordinate vendor support and assist with procurement

Adhere strictly to Service Level Agreements (SLA)

Support meetings, events, and after-hours activities when required

Document incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference

Good to Have Skills

L1 level network troubleshooting for LAN connectivity

Hands&Feet support to backend teams for Network / Server / Application issues

Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues

Labelling racks and devices

Server mounting / movement

Physical support for servers, network devices, and storage equipment

Racking / stacking activities

The backfill role requires onsite presence when the primary engineer is on leave or vacation

Advance notice will be provided whenever your presence is required
