We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Clairvaux. Key Responsibilities
Plan and create traditional Indian menus that reflect regional specialties and seasonal ingredients Prepare and cook dishes according to traditional recipes with attention to detail and presentation Ensure all food is of high quality, taste and appearance Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain consistency in preparation and presentationMonitor food inventory levels, order supplies as needed and maintain accurate records Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards at all times Collaborate with management to create new dishes or menu items based on customer feedback or market trends Adhere to budget guidelines by controlling food costs through portion control, waste management and inventory managementStay updated on industry trends, techniques and best practices in traditional Indian cuisine Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian recipes, spices, herbs and cooking techniques Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standardsExcellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively Team player with strong leadership abilities Good communication skills in English; French is a plus Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends Salary&Location
Salary: $1500/month negotiable based on experience. Location: Clairvaux. Candidates from India preferred.
