Chef, Leschères-sur-le-Blaiseron

We are hiring a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Clairvaux. As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of the kitchen operations with a focus on Indian and Filipino cuisine. This position requires creativity, strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new menu items and specials that showcase the flavors of Indian and Filipino cuisine. Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Train and supervise kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices. Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to ensure profitability.Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of Indian and Filipino cuisine ingredients and techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices. Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Salary
