The Data Analyst is responsible for QMS data governance with global vision, by combining advanced statistical methods with data science techniques to identify trends, build predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations aligned with organizational goals. The role ensures quality data accuracy, traceability, and availability across QMS processes in alignment with regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, EU MDR).Main Responsibilities
Data governance : Identify the different data sources and map the data flow from the production sites and design centers. Enhance data collection procedures to ensure harmonization, completeness and relevance. Data Management&Integrity : Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and governance of QMS data across electronic systems. Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, trend reviews, and support data impact assessments related to QMS changes or system upgrades. Preprocess structured and unstructured data for analysis. Perform data mining to extract usable information from various data sources.Metrics&Analytics : Develop, automate, and maintain quality KPIs and dashboards. Perform statistical trending to identify risks and improvement opportunities, and deliver clear, audit‑ready reports for QMRs and governance forums. Analyze numerical data to uncover trends and patterns using statistical methods.Data processing : Propose data‑driven solutions and strategies to address business needs. Analyze large datasets to identify solutions and support predictive modeling. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and prediction systems. Use machine learning tools to select features, create, and optimize classifiers.Regulatory&Audit Support : Provide accurate, traceable quality data to support regulatory, customer, and internal audits. Ensure metrics are reproducible, procedure‑aligned, and support responses to audit observations related to data integrity and reporting. Systems&Process Support : Act as SME for quality data reporting tools. Support system enhancements, validation, and deployments, and collaborate with IT, Digital, and Global Quality teams to ensure compliant and fit‑for‑purpose system outputs. Preferred Profile
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent. 5+ years experience in a regulated industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals). Proven experience working with QMS data and quality processes. Solid understanding of statistical methods, including tests, distributions, regression, and maximum likelihood estimators.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience with large, complex datasets, particularly in regulated or industrial environments (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, manufacturing). Skilled in data wrangling, cleansing, and validation. Understanding of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and data integrity expectations.Ability to translate complex data into clear, decision‑oriented insights with Problem Solving mindset. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Salary Range
