We are recruiting a Business Development and Partnerships role.
Responsibilities
Research, prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals/reports that support agency goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria.
Lead grant proposal development and submission—prepare and organize materials for proposals, submit and monitor grant applications, including:
Research new funding and business development opportunities on a local, state, and national level.
Maintain and build relationships with funders and other strategic partners on a local, state, and national level.
Draft proposals/LOIs, grant application narratives, and budgets; collaborate to finalize with program staff, finance, and Executive Directors.
Monitor and maintain funder and investor reporting schedules and requirements.
Assemble all necessary supporting materials and documents including budget reports, outcome measurements, success stories, etc.; submit reports to funders and investors.
Monitoring of Ongoing Partnerships
Coordinate funded or internalized projects.
Prepare reports to partners and negotiate critical points.
Value partnerships internally and externally by contributing to the definition of the communication plan and writing presentation documents.
Manage grants conditioned by R&D activity, including the research tax credit, in cooperation with the DAF and operational divisions.
Management
Organize and control work by creating performance‑friendly working conditions.
Create quality working conditions by establishing efficient collaboration and ensuring a good flow of information within the team and with the entire organization.
Adapt practices with a perspective of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
PhD in science and at least ten years of grant‑management experience; scientific profile ideally in gene therapy or regenerative medicine with dual competence in science and marketing/business development.
Experience with French and international grants and consortia (ANR, BPI, Horizon, ERC, Marie Curie, etc.).
Fluent in French and English.
Superior organizational skills, strong leadership qualities, and exceptional project‑management, budgeting, and monitoring skills; ability to reinforce relationships with donors, ensure efficient grant programs, streamline administration, and keep the organization fiscally sound.
