Are you ready for an exciting role supporting a growing Agile organization? The MVO Lob has an opportunity for an Agile Coach in its Grenoble location to support the Agile Transformation Leader of the Lob and coach the Leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and squads to become high performing teams.Job Summary
Mentor and guide people to find the best solutions for their specific challenges Analyze the organization's existing infrastructure and implement improvements to streamline processes and create efficiencies Support the long-term strategy, helping teams to deliver more value in a faster, more efficient mannerWork with product squads to analyze current systems and processes and design strategies to adopt agile best practices Guide squads to stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is met Identify suitable topics and lead agile workshops for both development / operational teams and key stakeholdersPromote a culture of continuous improvement through the use of agile rituals and techniques like retrospective, relative estimation, burndown charts Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset Research and benchmark ensuring the organization is at the forefront of industry best practicesWork with external Agile Coaches as required Report to the MVO Global Agile Excellence Chapter Leader Job Responsibilities
Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching– arm agile squads with the right knowledge, tools and training so that they’ll be able to use agile to its full potential Understand where the squads are in their journey and offer the right approach to support their growth, adapt his/her approach / posture to the development of the individualsBring the right questions, provide good mental models, challenge people in their thinking and guide them towards building great products / more value Offer individualized support for people looking to solve specific agile-related problems Provide occasional training to employees on the agile principles&processes Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and operating models across the organization Encourage squad members and leadership to embrace agile methods Keep an objective perspective on issues and troubleshoot by applying agile principles Implement scrum rituals Help squads navigate agile tools and softwareHave knowledge of Scrum&Kanban Help squads to understand, build&maintain backlogs Support the squad to define and align on guardrails providing the right level of autonomy and triggering escalation at the right moment Support the squad to have robust customer interaction including customer demos and having customer panels in place Initiate and drive Agile communities of practice– facilitate communities of practice to enhance learning&sharing across the organization Ensure improvement actions are implemented as a result of best practice sharing Drive the community towards self management once a maturity level is reached Help identify the right competencies in the Squad– identify and elevate bandwidth issues (inside or outside of the Squad) and resource fragmentation within the squadInteract with management using influencing skills to ensure the squad can be autonomous Identify skill gaps and propose appropriate learning solutions Change Management– help squads navigate the rough patches in early period when the team or management questions the value of agile Guide the organization to embrace agile as a culture shift, encourage buy‑in from employees and key stakeholdersWork with leadership to see the future, be patient along the journey, and also change the way they work Work with the squad to help them transform to being self‑managing and accountable Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree 4 to 8+ years of work experience 3 years of product or project development experience would be advantageous and experience in one or more of the cross‑functional disciplines for product development lifecycle (Design, Test, Quality, Industrialization etc.) First successful experienceas Scrum MasterPromotes Agile values and principles, subject matter expert on implementing Agile and scaling Agile across the LoB Deep knowledge of an Agile Framework (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and knowledge of Agile at Scale frameworks (i.e. SAFe, Scrum at Scale) Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skillsBeing fact driven and striving for tangible results. Is able to manage transversal topics and change Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Able to interact with senior leadership
