Electrical AIT Engineer, Arcachon

Bristol based client looking for an experienced Electrical AIT professional to support a manufacturing business operating in an industrial, low-volume environment. EU citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical assembly and integration tasks on spacecraft subsystems, including wiring, harnessing, PCB assembly, and avionics installation

Support and execute various testing programmes such as functional, environmental, and system‑level tests

Develop, review, and maintain detailed electrical test procedures, scripts, and documentation

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults encountered during integration and test phases

Collaborate with design engineers to address issues and optimise system performance

Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)

Ensure all activities adhere to relevant industry standards and quality requirements, including ECSS

Analyse test data, prepare reports, and track anomalies to facilitate continuous improvement

Contribute towards refining workflows and operational procedures within the AIT environment

Qualifications

Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline

Proven experience working within electrical integration, test, or manufacturing, preferably within the aerospace sector

Solid knowledge of electronic systems, wiring, harnessing, and PCB‑level assembly

Hands‑on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies

Ability to develop and follow comprehensive test procedures and technical documentation

Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to electrical and system issues

Attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality standards
