Solution Advisor Expert, Finance and Controlling Solution Advisor is responsible for impactful presentations and product demonstrations pre‑sales and post‑sales; Delivers, helps develop, and maintains standard product demonstrations and materials to secure business and increase revenue. Understands business and industry; helps customers realize return on investment and drives knowledge into sales force.

manages presales opportunities, defines deliverables and provides definitive advice and interpretation of situations
ensures business critical&innovative result
ensures that goals and milestones are met and approved budgets are managed appropriately
Manages escalation appropriately
builds strategic partnerships with key decision makers in customer&partner organization
may include team lead or supervisory responsibilities
Complexity
manages presales activities of high volume or high risk/complexity
shares in-depth knowledge and experience with direct team to enable decision‑making
provide innovative solutions to complex business issues
provides regular status and updates
Ability to present the whole SAP Finance and controlling portfolio
Ability to deep dive on certain topics such as Treasury and cash management or product costing.
Experience
Strong functional knowledge in Finance and controlling
Successful project implementation on Finance or controlling
Certification on Sap solution on Finance or controlling
Expertise on one or several sub‑domain in finance or controlling such as Treasury and cash management or product costing
Communication
represents SAP to customers (one to many audience).
finds common ground for cooperation within team
formulates clear messages to promote SAP strategy and portfolio.
captures opinions and expectations of stakeholders and communicates them to the team
Key Responsibilities
Engage customers early in the sales cycle, matching needs to SAP solutions, and advising account teams on opportunities based on success probabilities and strategic account positions
Develop and deliver compelling stories and demonstrations that illustrate differentiated business outcomes, utilizing standard messaging and digital assets throughout the customer journey
Collaborate with customers and partners to co‑create an agreed‑upon SAP vision, aligning messaging and gaining customer trust. Expand the SAP footprint by showing how other SAP solutions can be leveraged to address other areas of their business
Ensure world‑class customer experiences in critical segments, driving adoption and consumption to maximize customer value
Continuously explore and communicate the added value of SAP solutions to each account, supporting the process of value expansion and increased revenue. Drive adoption by continuing to sell the vision and impact of SAP's solutions post‑selection.
Experience&Educational Requirements
10 years+ Professional experience with large, multi‑national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise of finance or controlling.
Successful project implementation on Finance or controlling as key user or implementation consultant.
Proven track record of success in finance or controlling.
Ability to engage through storytelling.
Fluency in English and French.
