We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. This role will work closely with project managers, operations, and other departments to ensure the accurate and efficient financial operations of construction projects.

Overview Of The Role

Manage and oversee union payroll processing, ensuring compliance with union agreements, prevailing wage rates, and applicable regulations. Prepare and submit AIA billing in accordance with project timelines and contract terms. Reconcile and maintain job cost reports and general ledgers. Assist with project costing, budget tracking, and forecasting.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports. Ensure accurate job costing allocation and tracking across multiple projects. Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments. Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.Participate in internal and external audits as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a construction environment. Strong knowledge of union payroll systems and processes. Experience with AIA billing and construction project accounting.
