Senior Manager (m/w/d), Public Affairs - Structural Heart (France) Edwards Lifesciences is looking for a Senior Manager in our Public Affairs team focused on the Structural Heart portfolio in France.
About the role Trust is key to fostering the positive change required to impact patient lives for the better. Honoring and safeguarding Edwards’ reputation and brand identity, our Public Affairs teams build and maintain valued partnerships across the public arena. Your guidance and counsel will help drive policy, lawmaking, and public support to improve quality care for critical care and cardiovascular patients worldwide.
Purpose of the role Be the strategic partner for Business Units to enable and improve market access of innovative therapeutic solutions for Structural Heart Disease and advanced critical care technologies, simplifying decision‑making in the hospital environment.
How you'll make an impact
Develop and plan market access projects and activities, ensuring successful completion of all deliverables.
Lead market‑access projects, including creating new therapeutic/device charge codes, obtaining fair‑value recognition, and securing reimbursement approval.
Select and manage consultants for specialized expertise.
Develop local market‑access opportunities in strategic accounts in collaboration with the BU team.
Provide direction to external project teams and participate in internal product launch teams.
Identify and evaluate process‑improvement opportunities for market access.
Actively participate in industry work groups (e.g., SNITEM) to represent Edwards interests and influence policy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare authorities.
Other incidental duties as required.
What you'll need
Scientific background (PharmD, MD, Engineering,…) required.
Additional education in Health Economics, Business, Political Sciences, or Communications preferred.
8‑10 years of significant experience in market‑access positions within the French healthcare environment.
Solid experience in multinational pharmaceutical or medical‑device companies, or as a consultant.
Knowledge of clinical‑trial methodology expected.
Expertise in pricing and reimbursement processes highly preferred.
Flawless command of French, including excellent written communication skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Remote position possible with occasional travel (less than 15% annually).

Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, problem solver with strong ownership and leadership skills.
Proven project‑management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and influencing skills, able to work in a matrix environment.
Expert understanding of government health‑care policies and pricing&reimbursement processes.
Ability to build relationships internally and externally with KOLs and authorities.
Detail‑oriented, capable of delivering impactful communications.
Capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Adherence to company rules and compliance requirements.
