We are looking for an CAD designer Apprentice for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 min from Belfort; 15 min from Monbéliard; near Switzerland). The Center R&D from Bavans, with close to 1000 collaborators, develops innovative solutions for sustainable and clean mobility. It is Forvia's global centre of expertise on hydrogen storage systems. Apprenticeship duration: 3 years, from start date. Our activity is focused on the design of new or existing products, in line with planning, process, and quality targets. The Design Engineer will produce complete engineering designs translated into CAD models and create all the associated documentation within the PLM application.You will be working on challenges that matter. Creation / Modifications of 3D models for all technology:

For Exhaust components using standard CAD software. Be capable to design component without standard existing.

Strong in preparation of drawings with basic GD&T or as per references. Knowledge of sheetmetal, casting, forging, plastics, and rubber manufacturing processes. Communicate with the customer on day-to-day activities. Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documents (PLM). Execute projects to meet the customer's timeline and quality requirements.Participate in GAP meetings and update information on GAP boards timely.
