Job Overview
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Ice Protection Method and Tools Designer (M/F) to join the Communication&Sensing Systems Department in Toulouse, France. Wing and nacelle Ice Protection Systems (IPS) are critical to ensure aircraft safety and performance. The role involves developing and maintaining existing systems and contributing to future programmes that face new certification and technology challenges.Key Responsibilities
Participate in IPS system‑design activities to support aircraft programme evolutions and future technology maturation. Identify, perform or support research projects aimed at improving knowledge of icing conditions and methods to develop IPS. Control the evolution of existing methods and tools used on IPS: manage tool updates, integrate new tools, and propose improvements for current methods.Maintain a strong awareness of potential compliance risks and act with integrity to support the company’s reputation and sustainable growth. Qualifications
Degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering. Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermal and thermodynamic engineering. Scientific computation and modelling skills. Basic project management experience. Dynamic, positive, curious, passionate and creative personality. Location&Employment
