Overview Lynxeo, formerly part of the Nexans Group, specializes in designing and manufacturing cables and technology solutions for global industrial leaders. The company operates 20 sites across multiple continents with a global workforce and aims to accelerate sustainable energy, mobility, and industrial digitalization. Within this position, you will be part of the Global IT Infrastructure Center of Excellence within Lynxeo IS, managing IT infrastructure globally and collaborating with Hosting/Platform/Cloud, application, and regional teams. Location: Tour Hekla - La Défense, Paris. Supervisor: Head of Global Infrastructure. Type: CDI. Time: Full time.
Responsibilities
Resolve service problems by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and designing action plans for unknown errors reported through the Problem Management Dashboard
Perform solution releases by authorizing, validating (changes, upgrades, updates, patches, and migrations), and implementing them
Act as the L2 level function and manage communication with vendors in case of problems, patches, and maintenance
Ensure to keep the SMBD up to date by adding/modifying CI as implied by incidents, changes, and release processes
Perform technical and management escalations as implied by the escalation process to ensure network and security tasks are progressing toward resolution and/or completion
Provide second line support and escalation of helpdesk tickets to users, working to SLA requirements
Provide remote support and change management assistance to the user base on an 8x5 basis as required
Keep users updated on issue status and maintain high user satisfaction
Support typical services: LAN, WAN, IT/OT firewalls, infra as code, firewall rules automation
Implement standard, complex, urgent Changes and integrate Changes in the ticketing tool
Plan Changes (implementation chronograms) and participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
Implement Changes in Business Hours (BH) and Non-Business Hours (NBH)
Update technical reference documents and databases (Diagrams, operating procedures, CMDB, etc.)
Contribute to security processes/workflows (e.g., firewall rules)
Handle routine production tasks (checks, inventory, monitoring, backup, maintenance)
Incident/crisis management and writing of incident reports and root-cause analysis
Contribute to sustainable solutions—technical and CSR-oriented
Ensure the CMDB is up to date
Network monitoring activities via corporate monitoring tool
Qualifications
More than 5 years' experience
Experience in international, multi-site and multi-cultural environments
Good knowledge of Agile principles
Proven ability to learn on the job
Strong team spirit
Fluent English
Advanced knowledge of Cisco (Switching and Meraki); CCNA and CCNP appreciated
Advanced knowledge of Fortinet (Fortigate, Fortimanager, Fortinanalyzer, Forti authenticator, EMS)
Knowledge in Network as Code / automation / scripting (Ansible, Terraform, Python or other)
Preferred
Solid understanding of networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, IP sub-netting) and knowledge of the 7-layer OSI model
Advanced knowledge of Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, Cloud firewall) or similar technologies
Advanced knowledge of Forcepoint (SD-WAN)
Hands-on experience in Network as Code / automation / scripting
Industry context and OT knowledge is a plus; the candidate's mindset is more important and can be developed on the job
