Airbus Defence and Space Cyber– Experienced AI Architect (f/m) Airbus Defence and Space Cyber, part of Airbus Defence and Space, is a European specialist in cybersecurity for defense and aerospace systems. The role is based in Rennes, France and focuses on designing, architecting, and implementing robust AI systems for cyberdefense.

Responsibilities

Design and architect AI solutions that meet cyber defense business needs.

Oversee the implementation of AI models and data pipelines.

Optimize the performance, efficiency, and maintenance of AI systems.

Evaluate technologies, and document architectures and best practices (clean code, CI/CD, testing).

Integrate, deploy, and monitor AI components in production (e.g., vLLM, gRPC/REST APIs, OpenTelemetry).

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an AI architect.

Degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.

Mastery of ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn) and MLOps best practices (CI/CD, monitoring, DVC, MLflow).

Experience with orchestration and ETL/ELT frameworks (Prefect, Airflow, Kubeflow, Spark) and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, OpenSearch, MinIO).

Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks (LlamaIndex, Haystack, PydanticAI).
