Your Role We are looking for a motivated Senior Product Engineer to lead, manage and develop the EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) product‑line into adjacent markets. Versigent is expanding its current portfolio of electrical/electronics into the non‑automotive sector, extending from Aerospace and Defense to Energy Management Systems and Robotics/Humanoid. If you are a well‑founded industry expert with technical expertise in wiring and interconnection technology and can transfer these skills to adjacent markets, then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

Leading, managing and developing the EDS Aerospace and Defense market according to business needs, advancing new project opportunities

Ensuring further growth by analyzing the needs of the EDS organization and communicating with management, EDS Core and Execution teams

Securing tools to implement research and development projects (in relation to Ae&D) according to current standards

Exploring opportunities to improve collaboration with customers and other departmental EDS organizations to achieve synergy effects

Leading the“Request For Quotation/Information”, executing advanced work and delivering the technical inputs on time and with quality

Collaborating with suppliers and driving vertical integration

Supporting the handover plan to the execution team and ensuring that the project team is fully equipped to deliver new programs successfully

Investigating and, if necessary, establishing collaborations with external organisations such as service providers and universities

Preparing, controlling and reporting on the budget for the assigned organisation

Performing assigned tasks on time

Creating products according to customer requirements and procedures

Maintaining communication with external and internal customers

Performing assigned tasks in accordance with EDS quality management system

Reporting progress and support required to the Line and Dotted‑line Manager

Your Background

Understanding of customer culture, ideally in the automotive electrical sector and Aerospace&Defense, to bridge what we currently do at Versigent with aerospace expectations

Capability to identify how our current products, expertise and capabilities can translate into value for the aerospace industry

Proven experience in the aerospace industry with an existing network

Ability to open doors and drive business development in this new market

Dual skillset (technical + commercial) to effectively position our offer

Proven strategy development skills

Self‑motivated, target/result‑driven

Willingness to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years in the electrical sector in a technical and commercial function

Fluent English (speaking and writing) and ideally good French (speaking and writing)
