People Business Partner Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner to country management, advising on people strategy, representing the People function in the leadership team, driving strategic workforce planning, and building a strong local People network.
Manage and operate the governance of compensation and grading, including the annual salary and bonus cycles and the renewal of all benefits packages as well as communication of the annual enrollment window, as part of the complete employee rewards lifecycle.
Facilitate high‑potential and team development, diagnose people‑related challenges, and drive initiatives to boost employee performance, satisfaction, motivation, engagement, and retention.
Drive, facilitate, and control succession planning activities with the business to ensure the process aligns with organizational vision and develops a pipeline of future leaders.
Provide coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution for employees while delivering targeted coaching and development for local management.
Foster a positive organizational culture by facilitating team‑building exercises and implementing strategic initiatives that drive employee performance and engagement.
Ensure smooth execution of day‑to‑day people operations, including individual case handling, local policy implementation, and operational support across the employee lifecycle. Manage requests and exceptions with discretion and reliability, enabling a positive experience for both leaders and employees.
Essential Criteria
Fluency in English, French, and German.
University degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or a related field.
Demonstrable relevant professional experience within the same or similar role.
Proficiency with HR/People Systems (e.g., SAP).
Experience working within a classic HR three‑pillar model (HR Business Partnering, Centres of Excellence, Shared Services).
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Desirable
Experience in an international environment.
