Senior Composite Design Engineer– Motorsport H/F
based in Signes, near the Paul Ricard circuit, VAR, FRANCE. The engineer will report to the Director of Engineering and manage the design of functional sub‑assemblies for race car projects such as prototypes, GT, LMDh, and LMP2.
Responsibilities
Design composite components and mechanical assemblies for endurance racing.
Develop technical solutions for internal customer issues.
Deliver complete studies of sub‑assemblies (suspensions, chassis, cooling, engine integration, etc.) through solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drafting, achieving high‑performance, reliable, and optimised sizing.
Collaborate with the project manager to respect time, budget, and risk constraints, coordinating with supply chain, metrology, assembly and manufacturing teams.
Ensure integrated systems satisfy simulation/modeling requirements based on conceptual ideas.
Oversee design mock‑up activity within the design office.
Comply with all safety regulations across all venues.
Qualifications
Mechanical engineering background with at least 8 years of experience in high‑performance motorsport component development.
Proficiency in CATIA V5 for complex modeling (solid, surface, and drawing modules).
Strong technical English communication; French is a plus.
Passion for motorsport is a plus.
Personal Attributes
