ITZU Executive Search has been mandated by LVD Group to recruit the
Manager France , a key leadership position within the French subsidiary located near Valenciennes. LVD is a Belgian industrial group internationally recognized for its
high‑end sheet metal machinery , including press brakes, laser cutting machines, and punching machines. These machines represent significant industrial investments for customers, ranging from
€250K to €2M , and are used across sectors such as
automotive, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing . Combining
technical expertise, innovation, and close customer partnerships , LVD develops highly customized solutions tailored to demanding production environments. With a
family‑oriented culture and flat hierarchy , LVD values autonomy, entrepreneurship, and long‑term relationships with its customers. France represents a
strategic market
for the group. The Manager France will play a key role in
strengthening the commercial performance of the subsidiary , developing the market and supporting the sales team in complex projects. The position reports to the
Group Sales Director and the Group CFO
and represents the
most senior responsible role within the French subsidiary . Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership and Business Development (≈80%)
Drive the commercial development of the French market and support the sales team in achieving ambitious growth objectives. Actively support and coach the
regional sales team
in their commercial activities. Participate in
key client meetings and strategic negotiations . Develop relationships with
major industrial accounts . Support the sale of
high‑value industrial equipment
and complex investment projects. Accompany clients throughout the decision process for major capital investments. Organize demonstrations with clients at the
LVD showroom in Belgium when required . Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long‑term partnerships. The objective is to
strengthen the commercial performance of the subsidiary and drive revenue growth beyond€15M . Team Leadership and Sales Organization
Lead and structure the commercial team while maintaining a strong presence in the field. Direct management of
4 team members currently , with the objective of growing the team progressively to
around 7 regional sales managers . Coach, monitor and challenge the sales team to improve performance. Analyze the
territory coverage and sales potential
across France. Ensure strong alignment between sales activities and company strategy. Act as a facilitator between departments, notably
sales and after‑sales service , to improve internal collaboration. Performance Monitoring and Business Analysis
Ensure clear visibility on commercial performance and identify improvement opportunities. Monitor
sales KPIs and commercial performance indicators . Analyze market potential and identify development opportunities. Implement concrete actions to improve sales efficiency. Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes. Profile
Experience : Minimum 15 years in B2B sales, ideally in industrial capital goods, including high‑value industrial equipment or technical solutions. Experience in
industrial machinery, automation, robotics, or manufacturing technologies
is a strong advantage. Proven experience managing or coaching sales teams. Skills : Strong commercial mindset and business development capabilities; ability to manage
complex industrial sales cycles ; solid technical credibility for discussions with engineering and industrial clients; analytical and KPI‑driven;
hands‑on with strong field presence . Personality : Strong character and leadership, able to challenge and coach a sales team; entrepreneurial and pragmatic; comfortable working
hands‑on close to operations and clients ; builds trust with clients and internal teams; motivated by business growth and performance. Languages : French – fluent; English – professional level. The ideal candidate is motivated by business growth, operational excellence, and enjoys a demanding butcollaborative environment with strong field presence.Compensation and Benefits
